Bitting Coal & Feed company that formerly occupied that site. But, did you know that the Bitting Undertakers also "undertook" their business at the same site? From a 1922 ad which ran regularly in the local papers: "Continued adherence to the principle that the business of the good undertaker is to give superior service, has won for the Bitting Undertakers the commendation of all who have called upon us." "We give the 'best without extravagance'".
